There had been reports that Michigan would be getting an official visit this weekend from defensive back Brandent Englemon (6-0, 180 lbs., 4.5 in the 40, 4.0 GPA) from Covington, Kentucky, Holmes. The Cincinnati Post online confirms this.
Englemon committed to Kentucky in November, but according to the paper, "Holmes head coach Mike Farley said Michigan made [a scholarship] offer late last week. 'He's still officially committed to Kentucky, but he's going to take this opportunity to visit Michigan,' said Farley."
Englemon has played quarterback in high school, but is projected as a safety in college.
