JR FB Recruits at OSU Game

There were a LOT of junior football prospects spotted at the OSU game. We will keep updating this list as kids are identified.<br><br> **MONDAY UPDATE**

We had a lot of fun posting Juniors football prospects spotted at the OSU game -- right as the game was progressing! Here's our latest list -- we will keep updating this list as kids are confirmed.

From Ohio:

First a senior, Mr. Shawn Crable.

- 1. Huber Heights Wayne (Cleveland area): Linebacker Marcus Freeman (see our article on Saturday)
- 2. Cleveland Glenville: DB Ted Ginn (see our article on Saturday), LB/FB Jamell Benjamin (6-1, 210 lbs.)
- 3. Cleveland St. Ignatius: Quarterback Brian Hoyer (see our article on Saturday)
- 4. Shaker Heights (Cleveland area): WR/S Michael Bell (6-1, 180 lbs.). Bell is a top 10 Ohio junior.
- 5. Westchester Lakota West (Cleveland area): OL Steve Rehring (6-8, 320 lbs.). A top 20 Ohio junior.
- 6 Youngstown Ursuline: Brandon Braxton (6-8, 300 lbs.). A top 15 Ohio junior. Note: there are four top 6-8 junior OL's in Ohio; two of them were at the game!

From Michigan:

- 1. Michigan's first 2002/03 verbal commitment, WR Morgan Trent from Orchard Lake St. Mary's
- 2. From Bay City Central: OL Alex Mitchell (6-5, 300 lbs.). Mitchell sets the record for most appearances at U-M events!
- 3/4. From Det. King: Bernard Faithful (6-4, 230 lbs.), Anton Greenwood (RB, 6-2, 195 lbs.). Faithful gives Mitchell a run for his money! And Wendell Brown (6-1, 205 lbs.)
- 5. From Southfield-Lathrup: DL/OL Dewayne Roland (6-4, 280 lbs., 4.8 in the 40). He was also spotted at the Wisconsin game last fall.
- 6. Detroit Renaissance's Ronald Talley (6-4, 235 lbs.). Renaissance is the home of U-M's latest basketball commitment, Joe Crawford.
- 7/8. Bellville: Devon Geralds (LB/DL 6-2, 235 lbs.) and his teammate Ath. Tyler Jones (6-0, 180 lbs.)

From Wisconsin:
- 1. From Cudahy (Navarre's school): Jerry Wasikowski (6-4, 220 lbs.). He attended two football games last fall.

. From Pennsylvania:
- 2. From North Allegheny, Penn: TE/LB Chris Rogers, Chris (6-3, 225 lbs.)
- 2. From Peters Township, Penn. (Pittsburgh area): DE/TE Doug Fife (6-5, 215 lbs.). A Fife ... hmmm

From Ft. Wayne, Indiana:
- 1. Ft. Wayne Homestead: Kevin Bush (WR, 6-4, 205 lbs.). A 2002 Michigan camper.
- 2. Ft. Wayne Northrup: Charles Bailey (RB, 6-1, 185 lbs.), and his teammate TE Josh Baines (6-3, 250 lbs.)
- 4 Center Grove: OL Sean Edmunson (6-5, 255 lbs.)

From Illinois:
- LB Sam Carson (6-2, 225 lbs.) from Downers Grove, Ill., South

At the MSU game a couple weeks back were spotted the 'MacKenzie kids':
- Detroit MacKenzie's OL Demarco Hughes (6-4, 280 lbs., 4.8 in the 40)
- Detroit MacKenzie's RB Fred Wilson (5-11, 210 lbs., 4.5 in the 40)

At the Iowa game a week ago were spotted the 'King kids' , the 'Cass Tech kids', and the 'Crockett kid':
- Detroit King's DL Bernard Faithful (6-4, 230 lbs.)
- Detroit King's LB Wendell Brown (6-1, 2-5 lbs.)
- Detroit Cass Tech's DL Vernon Gholston (6-4, 250, 4.6 in the 40)
- Detroit Cass Tech's Ath Allen Langford (6-0, 190 lbs., 4.6 in the 40)
- Detroit Crockett's LB John Thompson (6-2, 230 lbs., 4.6 in the 40)
