Wolverines invited to the Combine were: Victor Hobson, Bennie Joppru, B.J. Askew, Ronald Bellamy, Cato June and Charles Drake.
The Combine started with 'mental testing' on Thursday and Friday: IQ tests, psychological tests, etc. Then on Saturday the physical testing started. Physical testing is still going on, with today as the last day.
Here are a few U-M player results that have trickled out.
Victor Hobson measured at 6-1, 252 lbs.; he did 29 bench press reps of 225 lbs.
Bennie Joppru measured at 6-4, 272 lbs.; he did 19 bench press reps of 225 lbs.
Charles Drake did 20 bench press reps of 225 lbs.
Ronald Bellamy measured at 6-0, 208 lbs. He ran 4.55 and 4.60 40 yard dash heats.
