Another DB Coach Candidate

Former assistant recruiting coordinator Mark Ouimet gives us the latest.

Ouimet:

"Here's another candidate for Michigan defensive back's coach. Raheem Morris from Tampa Bay. This year he was 'defensive quality control coach' for Tampa, which is the NFL's version of a 'grad assistant coach'. He is from New Jersey, and played defensive back at Hofstra and has coached DB's at Hofstra and Cornell."

The other candidates once again:

"Former Wolverine DB Corwin Brown (currently an assistant at Virginia -- he recruited Ryan Mundy for Virginia)."

"David Lockwood (he was on Bob Davie's staff at Notre Dame, this year he was DB coach at Minnesota; he turned down a Wisconsin job this winter, he is a graduate and former DB from West Virginia)."

"Former Wolverine DB Curt Mallory from Indiana."

"Mike Tomlin (Tampa Bay Buccaneers' defensive backs coach, and William & Mary graduate and WR ... remember that former U-M assistant Stan Parrish is currently at Tampa as QB coach). I don't think he's a candidate any longer."

"And possibly but not as likely: Troy Douglas (formerly on Bobby Williams' staff at MSU; he is a graduate and former WR for Appalachian State)."
