- Freshman Daniel Horton's little brother, point guard Jason Horton (6-0, 170 lbs.) from Cedar Hill, Texas. He is one of the top 10 junior PG's in the country.
- Also seen in Ann Arbor Saturday was Michigan's first junior football commitment, Morgan Trent (6-0, 180 lbs., 4.4 in the 40) Orchard Lake St. Mary's. He had been in an indoor track meet at U-M, and had run a 6.83 60 meter dash. As a comparison, Braylon Edwards ran a 6.88 in the Big Ten Indoor Meet, and U-M recruits Andrew Johnson from Pittsburgh Penn Hills (Ryan Mundy's friend) recently won the PA. state indoor championships with a 6.90.
