Yours truly talked late Wed. evening to linebacker Roger Allison (2002 Michigan camper, 6-2, 222 lbs., 4.75 in the 40) from Lake Orion, Michigan. I asked him why we didn't see him at a U-M basketball game this winter.

"I didn't go to a winter junior day at Michigan because they didn't invite me to anything. I went to basketball games at Michigan State, Indiana and Central Michigan."

What are your plans for the spring?

"I'll probably go to spring practices at Michigan State and Illinois; maybe at Michigan, we'll have to see if I get an invitation. I'll go to the Michigan Nike camp."

Have you thought about summer camps?

"I'll probably go to the Michigan, Michigan State and Ohis State camps, and maybe Penn State."

Do you have any scholarship offers?

"Not yet."

Who are your favorites at this point?

"Well, Michigan State because their coaches have talked to me ... and Michigan, Penn State, and Notre Dame."

As a junior linebacker Allison made 120 tackles; as a RB he rushed for 1600 yards and 21 touchdowns. He is considered a top ten instate prospect.
