Sad to say that 10 games into the season and I still do not feel like I have a good read on this team. Once again I do know that we have the ability to wear them down and their D is just not good. If we can hold onto the ball I see no reason why we will not score points. Can our D stop them? It does seem like we are starting to catch some breaks and make plays when it matters. I hate the term "bend by don't break" but it fits us well right now. This game will probably come down to special teams and we should have the edge there.
We are thin in the secondary and are having to use walk on players. With that said, they stepped up against South Bama. Harley's potential is finally starting be realized. I think last week's game has helped his confidence and that will help us.
I think Buster is gonna work to rely on the run and take major chunks off the clock. Troy's D is worse than ours and if you wanna beat them, you have to control the clock and move the football which isn't that big of a deal. Look at how FAU beat them. They are 110th in the nation in rushing and they clocked 160 rushing yards on Troy.
Our D is forcing turnovers this year. We just need a couple. Our Kickoff return game will make the difference for us.
