Harris talks visits

Originally opting to walk on at Arizona State, Ge'Shun Harris found his way to the JUCO ranks for the 2010 season. After putting together a solid season he's looking for his final college destination.

Ge'Shun Harris Profile

At 6-3, 215 and boasting a 4.5 in the 40, Harris has caught the eye of many division one programs during his one-year stint at Arizona Western.

"Right now I've got offers from Middle Tennessee, Ohio, Memphis, North Texas, Arkansas State, Utah State, New Mexico State and UMass," Harris tells BRZ. "Minnesota just jumped in the picture big time, too."

From his offers, Harris has started to put together a list of schools he intends to visit. He spent this past weekend in Murfreesboro, Tenn. to see what the Blue Raiders had to offer.

"The visit was pretty good," he says. "I was feeling on the visit that I wanted to commit right there. The atmosphere was really good and I liked the way the coaches treated me. Since I got back I've talked to Coach Watts and Coach Stockstill."

Despite feeling the urge, Harris is determined to enjoy the recruiting experience and take in the rest of his official visits. He's currently working out the details for several more official visits: Memphis, Arkansas State, North Texas and Ohio (in priority order).

Harris also notes that an official offer from Minnesota could change up list of targets.

For now, he's working to finalize his visits and find his future program.

"Honestly, my stuff is packed right now ready to go," Harris laughs.

He goes on to say that he plans on making his decision as soon as he gets home from his final visit. Once the decision is made he'll head straight back to campus to get started with his new program.
