Josh Guthrie, a standout offensive guard out of Groveland, Florida, has set up two official visits to Sun Belt Conference schools. Guthrie will visit Florida Atlantic on January 26 and Middle Tennessee on February 2. As reported previously on Scout.com, Guthrie will wait until after those visits to make a final decision.
"It's basically between those two and Western Kentucky," said Guthrie, referring to FAU and MTSU. Guthrie has offers listed from Florida Atlantic, Middle Tennessee, and Florida International. Western Kentucky has not offered Guthrie at this time but he has thrown them into the mix.
Guthrie has a huge upside with his 6 foot 5, 320 pound frame. He has previously received interest from Notre Dame, Louisville, Central Florida, among others. Middle Tennessee and Florida Atlantic "have shown the most interest, so they are on top of my list." Stay tuned as Guthrie edges closer to making a decision on his college career.
