Both Blue Raider basketball teams earn a win at Denver in doubleheader action on Thursday.

Denver- Kermit Davis' squad continues their hot streak as they notched their 10th Sun Belt win of the season defeating Denver 65-58. The win secured a home game for the opening round of the Sun Belt tournament.

Rick Insell's team picked up a win in Denver as well, 81-77. The Lady Raiders were led by the nation's leading scorer Amber Holt. Holt picked up 32 points to make this the 9th game where she has tallied at least 30 points.

In the men's game, Middle Tennessee trailed by 4 at halftime until Kevin Kanaskie and Demetrius Green caught fire. Kanaskie and Green were responsible for a run that put the Blue Raiders up by 5.The Blue Raiders never looked back from that point. Middle Tennesse became the first Sun Belt team to defeat Denver at home this year.

The women's game was somewhat different than the men's game. The Blue Raiders jumped out to a huge lead early in the game. They would keep a comfortable double digit lead until the final few minutes. Denver was able to cut the lead to 2, but the Bue Raiders hit some free throws as they clung to a 4 point victory.

Both Blue Raider squads will face FAU on Saturday in Boca Raton, FL.
