Georgia Speedster Commits to Middle Tennessee

Peach State cornerback decides to become a Blue Raider.

Coach Rick Stockstill picked up his 5th early commit for the 2009 recruiting class. Peach State cornerback Kenneth Gilstrap notified by text that he committed to Middle Tennessee while he made his official visit to Murfreesboro over the weekend. will have a more in-depth interview with Gilstrap as his schedule allows.

Gilstrap, 5-9 160 lbs., was timed as the fastest player at the combine in Atlanta where he posted a 4.31 40-yard time. He is a solid tackler but lacks a little in technique. He is known to be a very physical back who is very coachable. He is ranked as a 2-star recruit by

Gilstrap reportedly received offers from Kentucky, Ohio, UAB, and has garnered interest from North Carolina, Georgia Tech, and Clemson.

Gilstrap joins WR Arthur Williams, OL Josh Walker, ATH Sammy Seamster, and OL Jordan Johnson as verbally committing to Middle Tennessee.
