Gilstrap is All In speaks with one of the Blue Raider's latest recruits.

It has been said that speed kills. If that is the case, then the Blue Raider secondary got a little more deadly with the commitment of Kenneth Gilstrap recently. The Georgia football and track star ran a 4.29 40 yard dash at the Combine. Gilstrap, recruited by Willie Simmons to play defensive back and kick returner, choose Middle Tennessee over Ohio, Central Michigan, Western Kentucky, UAB, and track scholarships from Kentucky and South Carolina.

Kenneth Gilstrap was attracted to Middle Tennessee because "It gave me the best opportunity to compete for early playing time." A childhood friend of freshman sensation Malcolm Beyah, Gilstrap was also impressed by the critical role that Beyah played. Kenneth Gilstrap was also impressed by the growth of the university and the city of Murfreesboro.
