GAME BALL GOES TO: TE Tiree Eure -- Prior to Saturday's game the 6-foot-7, 255-pound tight end had only had one reception for one yard. On the Gophers first drive of the game, Adam Weber found Eure streaking down the seam and hit him for a 32-yard strike to the Ohio State seven-yard line. The play set up a seven-yard DeLeon Eskridge touchdown run.

Eure also impacted the game during the second quarter on a punt return by Jordan Hall of the Buckeyes. Hall looked like he was going to score until Eure raced across the field and caught Hall at the two-yard line and pushed him out of bounds. The next play, Terrelle Pryor threw an interception in the end zone to Ryan Collado. Eure's hustle and effort kept the score close at 17-7.

KEEP AN EYE ON: QB Adam Weber -- The senior quarterback passed for 162 yards against Ohio State, giving him 10,361 for his career. He needs 101 yards to surpass Iowa's Chuck Long (10,461) and move into fourth place on the Big Ten career-passing list.

QUOTE TO NOTE: "Obviously, Ohio State was the dominating football team tonight. They beat us in all three phases of the football game. They came out moving the ball and scoring," said Minnesota interim head coach Jeff Horton.
