Foster Bush Commits to Minnesota

Minnesota lost a commitment earlier in the week with tight end prospect Matt LaCosse decommited from the Gophers to Illinois. But head coach Jerry Kill and his staff received good news on Wednesday when Menasha, Wis. offensive lineman Foster Bush gave a verbal commitment to the Maroon and Gold.

The 6-foot-5, 270-pounder originally committed to coach Jerry Kill back in August while he was still at Northern Illinois.

When Kill took the head coaching position at Minnesota he offered Bush a scholarship to come north with him.

Bush chose Northern Illinois over scholarship offers from Western Michigan and Illinois State, but an offer to follow Kill to Minnesota was too much to pass up.

"I will be de-committing from NIU and following Coach Kill to Minnesota," Bush told on Wednesday. "I just got off the phone with Coach Limegrover and he extended the offer and I accepted!"
