Coming off his official visit to Minnesota last week Pickerington, Ohio prospect Tamani Carter said he was looking for a school where he could get a good degree, one that had a stable coaching staff, a school where he could play early, win and feel comfortable at. He narrowed down his list to the University of Arizona and the University of Minnesota. On Sunday he chose the Golden Gophers.
The 5-foot-11, 175-pound two-way athlete likely projects as a cornerback on the next level. Carter claims offers from Stanford, Air Force, Kent State, Iowa and Arizona.
