The Minnesota Golden Gophers are on the road to battle the Indiana Hoosiers on Wednesday. Tip-off is set for 5:30 p.m. and will be televised by the Big Ten Network.

Season to Date: Indiana enters Wednesday's contest with an 11-11 overall record. The Hoosiers are riding a four-game losing streak including two straight Big Ten losses to Penn State (69-60) and No. 2 Ohio State (85-67). Sophomore forward Christian Watford leads the team in scoring and rebounding at 17.0 points and 5.8 rebounds per game.

Coaching Preview: Tom Crean is the 28th men's basketball coach at Indiana and is in his third year with the Hoosiers. He holds a 215-148 all-time as a head coach. Crean came to Indiana from Marquette where he was 190-96 in nine seasons and made five NCAA Tournament appearances, including the 2003 Final Four.

Last Meeting: With the loss of Devoe Joseph still fresh in the mind of the Gophers, the team took the court to try and get their first Big Ten victory. After being behind at halftime, Minnesota battled back to get the victory by a score of 67-63. Minnesota forward Trevor Mbakwe filled up the stat sheet with 11 points, 16 rebounds and five blocks while Hoosier guard Maurice Cheeck had 12 points and five rebounds for Indiana.

Series History: Indiana leads the all-time series against Minnesota 87-62. The series dates back to 1912 in a game the Gophers won 34-7. The Gophers and Hoosiers split the season series in 2009-10, both teams won at home. Indiana won 81-78 on Jan. 17 in Bloomington while Minnesota won 81-58 Feb. 20 at Williams Arena.

Injury Update: Sophomore guard Maurice Creek will be out indefinitely after suffering a stress fracture on his knee. It is the second straight season Creek has suffered a knee injury.
