Blue Earth finished the season 6-4 but the future seems bright with two standout offensive tackles. Goldensports.net was able to catch up with Buccaneers standout Sam Lee.

Size: 6-foot-5, 305 pounds
Hometown: Blue Earth, Minn.
School: Blue Earth High School (3A)
Position: Offensive Tackle

Lee has been invited to the Minnesota, Wisconsin, Nebraska and South Dakota State University junior days. He recently attended the Iowa junior day. When asked about his experience in Iowa City Lee said, "It was good and interesting, it is nice down there."

Lee is good friends with teammate Jonah Pirsig, who is also receiving quite a bit of interest.

When asked if they discuss their recruitment Lee said, "We talk a little bit about recruitment, just basic stuff about the colleges, and it's all about where we're comfortable at."

Some main factors in Lee's decision will be comfortability, the campus, location, being accepted by the players and the trustworthiness of the coaching staff.

When asked if he'd like to stay close to home so family and friends can watch Lee said, "Yeah, I think so. I want my brothers to be able to watch me play."

Currently Lee has no favorites.

Lee also plays basketball and is in track in field. When asked what he plans on working on this off season Lee responded, "Speed, continue to get quicker. I'm going to keep lifting and doing drills on the practice field."
