Michaelson is a highly sought after recruit, he has heard from a number of school and has been invited to a number of junior days. To date he has been invited to the Minnesota, Wisconsin, Michigan State, Iowa State, Northern Illinois, and Western Michigan, Harvard and the University of San Diego junior days. He has also been in contact with Iowa, Yale and Bucknell.

When asked what some of his main factors would be when making his final decision Michaelson said, "Definitely how well their D-1 program is—I want to go play somewhere where there is good competition and have a winning record.

"Another factor would be the campus lifestyle, basically the makeup of the campus and the student body. I want to go to a big school my ideal college would be a Big Ten school. Another factor is the major I would like to major in business management and maybe minor in music."

Currently Michaelson is deciding whether he will play another sport this spring or just to continue to lift and prepare for next season. The two sports that he could possibly be playing this spring are lacrosse or track.

In the off season Michaelson plans on working on passing situations. "I'm going to be throwing a lot with my team doing 7-on-7 drills," he said. "Areas I need to work on are my drops, zones and then going over film."

When asked if he has any favorites he stated, "They're all even really. I'd love to go to a big school but wherever I fit in with the program is where I want to go."
