Trevor Mbakwe on if the Gophers' new free throw drills have been working:
"As the game goes on you get kind of fatigued, you might not do something so you know running up and doing a sprint or something down and have to come back and make a free throw, you know it's something you have to focus on and get your body mentally prepared for."

On playing with energy against Iowa:
"We don't want to miss the tournament so we know it's kind of like now or never for us. That was probably one of the best games as far as playing 40 minutes of good basketball and we just have to build off of it."

On playing in the Gophers' big lineup:
"Teams can't just focus on boxing me out. They have to worry about Ralph and Rodney crashing the boards, and Colton. So it kind of helps me out as far as a rebounding standpoint so I've been enjoying it. Hopefully it gets some more wins."

On if he needs to keep his stellar play up:
"Ralph's been playing exceptionally well. Rodney, he had a big game versus Iowa. He kind of got things started for us and we're going to need that from him. If we're going to go anyway we going to need everybody to play at the best at they can play, including me."
