On his visit Zack Johnson was able to take a tour of the stadium and other facilities on campus. He was also able to meet one on one with his position coach.

"I got to talk with offensive line coach, Matt Limegrover, I really liked him and I also got to talk to coach Kill and his wife," he said.

After hearing what the staff had to say, Johnson was able to come away with a pretty good impression on how the new staff intends to turn the program around.

"They seemed very nice and very committed to getting the best players they can to turn the program around," Johnson said. "They also seemed really eager to start football again, because all of those coaches want to bring a winning record back to Minnesota."

Despite not receiving an offer on his visit Johnson didn't seem disappointed and seemed confident that one will come.

"No offer today but I wasn't expecting one today, it will come with time."

Johnson has been invited back to attend spring practices and the spring game.
