Pirsig Planning Visits

Blue Earth (Minn.) offensive tackle Jonah Pirsig has offers from across the nation and he plans to visit three schools in the upcoming weeks. GoldenSports.net caught up with the coveted prospect to see where he will be heading next.

Did you learn anything new on your most recent visit to Minnesota you didn't learn last time?
"Yeah a little more on the academic side—we were able to talk with a professor and talked some football with coach Limegrover."

What did you talk about with coach Limegrover? Do you feel you're building a good relationship with him?
"He just went over some of their offense with my coach and I. I feel that our relationship is growing pretty good."

So when it comes to football are you looking for a particular offensive style?
"I guess the pro-style would be nice but in the end it's not my choice it's what the coach wants to do."

What does that mean for you to get an offer from Auburn? How much interest do you have in them?
"It was a pleasant surprise. How can you not have interest in the National Champs you know?"

So what's up next for visits?
"I think we will go to Michigan at the end of the month when we go to Michigan State and Ohio State. We will be putting quite a few miles on the car."

Are you planning on coming back to Minnesota for the Spring Game or practices?<
"Yea either or."

Do you expect to take all five official visits or will you see enough schools to make your decision before then?
"I think I will use close to all five if not all of them. It's going to be a tough decision."
