Breaux's newest offer from Minnesota came as a quite a surprise.
"It was a big surprise," he said. "Minnesota wasn't nowhere on my mind, but I got the news and I liked it," he said.
Why did the Gopher staff offer this Louisiana athlete?
"[They want] me to play defensive back and wide receiver and because they need athletes," he said.
Breaux is a very versatile player who spent time at quarterback and wide receiver this past season. He explained how he will be able to handle the position switch at the next level.
"I play wide receiver a lot. It's just switching to defensive back and becoming stronger and more physical is the hardest part to me," Breaux explained.
Breaux is striving to become a more complete player before he enters college.
"I'm [going to] be a senior this year," he said. "I got to get bigger and better mentally and physically."
As well as becoming a better player on the field, Breaux is also working on being an on-field leader for his team this coming season.
"I'm [going to] take the leadership and I'm [going to] tell you that," he said. "I have to be confident and know I am the heart and soul of our team."
The soon-to-be senior hopes to lead his team all the way to the Louisiana State Championship. When describing his goals for the upcoming football season he said, "Win the 3A state title and sign to a Division I school. LSU, Baylor, Alabama, and Texas A&M are my choices right now."
