Gophers Offer Miami Commit

On Monday the Minnesota Golden Gophers extended an offer to Homestead (Fla.) conerback and Miami commit A.J. Leggett.

"I was just offered by Ohio State, Syracuse, and Minnesota," Leggett said told FOX Sports/ recruiting analyst Mike Bakas on Monday.

The 5-foot-11, 175-pound Leggett has already decommitted from Miami once, when he briefly gave a verbal commitment to Florida State.

Although a host of teams, including Minnesota, continue to pursue Leggett, he appears to be solid to the Canes.

"I'm still committed," Leggett told Bakas. "I've always liked UM and I like the coaches and everything..."
