One of the top-rated players with a Gopher offer is defensive back Devin Bogard out of the football powerhouse Glenville High School in Ohio. Bogard recently attended the NFTC in Ohio to display his skills while also taking the time to chat with Scout.com about his recruitment.
has seen his recruitment skyrocket in recent months. His first offer came from USC in February which was then followed up by offers from Ohio State, Michigan, Michigan State, Wisconsin, Minnesota, Illinois, Pittsburg, and Syracuse.
With the in-state Buckeyes offering as well as the Trojans of USC, home to Bogard's former teammate Aundrey Walker, the Gophers will certainly be looked at as an underdog to land this sought-after prospect.
At 6-foot-1, 185 pounds, Bogard has good size as a safety or corner but his best characteristic is his hitting ability. "I love hitting," Bogard told Scout.com's Bill Greene at the NFTC.
