Always trying to improve, Fulton has been working on his skills during a busy camp season this summer. "I went to the Miami and Alabama camp[s]," said Fulton. "I performed very good at the camps," he said when asked how he played. "The coaches all said to keep working hard, they liked what they saw and they'll keep in touch," he added.
Although he does not have any offers at the moment, Fulton believes that he is on the verge of landing a couple. "Bowling Green and FAU will most likely offer soon," he said.
Fulton's abilities are a combination of skills that coaches covet. "I'm very explosive," he said. "I have great hips and feet and I can play man or zone. I'm a leader on and off the field, I'm a team player and coachable. I'm a playmaker," Fulton added.
This hardworking and confident attitude has helped lead to a significant amount of interest from schools around the country. "It's going well," said Fulton of his recruitment. "I've been in contact with Minnesota, Illinois, New Mexico, West Virginia, FAU, Bowling Green, Wisconsin, Mississippi State, Miami, Florida State, and Middle Tennessee State," he added.
The Gophers have been in contact with Fulton's father, Paul. "My dad has been talking to them [Minnesota] and I think they were at the spring game," he said. "I haven't talked to them but they've been talking to my dad about my highlight tape and that they are interested in me," Fulton added.
Fulton's personal interest in Minnesota stems from the fact that he is familiar with two members of the Gopher football team. "Two of my close friends go there," said Fulton referring to running back Donnell Kirkwood and 2011 commit Jephete Matilus.
