Glasgow Enjoys Minnesota Camp

Marmion Academy (Ill.) lineman Ryan Glasgow has attended numerous camps this summer trying to add to his offer list. caught up with the 6-foot-4 lineman to discuss his performance at a Minnesota camp earlier this month.

"It was very fun and I talked to Coach Kill," Glasgow said. "He said we would be in touch. I think all the coaches were happy with how I did. I thought I helped myself at camp, because to be honest my junior tape isn't that impressive compared to a lot of recruits, and I think that's why [attending camp] was even more important for me."

Although the 6-foot-4, 265-pounder worked out with the defensive lineman at Minnesota's camp the Gopher coaches are recruiting him for the offensive side of the football.

"I talked to coach [Jim] Zebrowski yesterday and he said they thought I did well at camp," Glasgow said. "They are looking at me for interior offensive line, but they are only thinking about taking one interior offensive lineman as a scholarship player. I think they already offered an interior in-state lineman so as of now I think they are waiting on his decision before they move forward.

"If he commits to a different school there is still no promise of a offer, I think it would be between me and a few other kids, and I think that would be based off our first few games of senior year."

Glasgow recently attended camps at Michigan and Northwestern but says he isn't done with visits this summer.

"I will probably go to a few camps in July but those aren't completely set up yet," he said. "I might visit Michigan State, Vanderbilt and some Ivy League schools."
