"Some [coaches] say if I grow into a defensive tackle then I'll play defensive tackle," he said. "If I stay how I am right now I'll probably play the five-technique."
Although he doesn't know what position he will play in college, Twitty will bring toughness to his future team.
"I think I can bring toughness," he said. "I can hold down the defense. Like, as a defensive lineman that's my job is to hold it down. I'm like the core of the defense so I feel like I just hold down the line."
This versatility and toughness has led Twitty to earn two offers, Minnesota and Temple. These two schools, as well as another, stick out to Twitty as his favorite schools.
"I like James Madison, I like Minnesota, and I like Temple," said Twitty.
Although these three schools are out in front right now, Twitty has made visits to other universities in the Northeast.
"I went to Syracuse, Connecticut, Temple and Rutgers," he said.
With Twitty traveling to make visits, he knows what he is looking for in a school.
"I'm looking for good coaches to help me be better as an individual and as a player," he said. "I'm looking for good teammates and I'm looking for a school I can play at."
Twitty plans on making the trek to the Twin Cities later this summer but does not have a date set.
"I'm planning on going up there sometime," said Twitty.
Although he hasn't visited Minnesota's campus, there are already some things that he likes about the Gophers.
"I like that it's by Mall of America," he joked. "I like that it's cold, I like the cold. And I like that it's a Big Ten school," Twitty added.
With Minnesota on Twitty's short list of favorites, when can Gopher fans expect him to make his decision?
"I may make a decision very soon, probably by the end of the summer," he said.
