Lynn Talks Minnesota Offer

Lake Zurich (Ill.) linebacker Jack Lynn attended one of Minnesota Gopher's Coach Kill's senior day camps last month. After a strong showing Lynn was able to pick up his first BCS offer from the Gophers' staff. has the latest on Lynn's interest in Minnesota.

How has your recruitment been going so far?
"Good, it's been going real good I have a bunch of MAC offers and the offer from Minnesota so far.

Aside from Minnesota what other schools have offered you?
"I have offers from Akron, Ball State, Eastern Michigan, Western Michigan, Northern Illinois, Illinois State and Western Illinois."

Have you been to many other camps this summer?
"I've been to camps at Iowa, Indiana, Michigan State and Northwestern. I was actually just at a team camp over the weekend."

How was it working with the Minnesota staff while you were in camp?
"It was very enjoyable. They really made it feel like I was already a part of the team and it was really fun."

Do you have any plans on visiting again this summer?
"I'm actually going to be coming up next Monday, July 18th."

What are you looking for in a school?
"I'm looking a college with a good business school because I want to major in marketing."

Do you have a timeline for when you would like to make a decision?
"I'd like to make a decision before the start of my season so by the end of summer is when I'll probably be making a decision."

What are you working on this off-season to get ready for the upcoming season?
"I'm working on my hip flexibility and fluidity, being able to open up my hips and get back into coverage."

Who are your top teams right now?
"I really like Minnesota and then Western Michigan and Indiana."
