As a sophomore Robinson had 51 receptions for 768 yards and 13 touchdowns. He was named All-Conference Honorable Mention. As a junior he recorded nearly 900 yards receiving and 11 touchdowns.
"Recruiting is good," Robinson said. "It's a little slow. I feel like I'm playing the waiting game up until the season. Right now I'm just working out five days a week trying to prepare for the upcoming season."
Although Robinson is still waiting to land his first offer, he received encouraging feedback from coaches at four different camps.
"I attended camps at Iowa State, Iowa, Colorado and Minnesota," he said. "Iowa State is very interested after the camp, I'm hoping for an offer from them during my season. They told me I'm very explosive, quick and I run great routes.
"Iowa became more interested and told me the same thing pretty much. Colorado's wide receiver coach talked to my wide receiver coach and told him that I'm for sure a D-1 prospect but they don't have any more wide receiver spots. I did not hear much back from Minnesota."
The 5-foot-9, 160-pounder posted personal best testing results at the aforementioned camps this summer.
"My best 40 was a 4.53 seconds," Robinson said. "My broad jump was a 9-foot-4 and my best shuttle was 4.25 seconds."
Robinson plans to take an official visit to Iowa State this fall but he is unsure of any further visits.
