Tusler is an exciting prospect who runs hard and has the ability to break tackles but also has the speed to outrun tacklers and make big plays, which he did well against Blaine, finishing the night with 145 yards rushing.
He shows great patience running the ball, allowing his blockers to get out in front of him and giving the play time to develop. He moves laterally very quickly and is able to maneuver his way through traffic easily. He is also very effective at changing gears – knowing when to slow down or speed up to throw off the pursuit of defenders.
He does a great job blocking for teammates too, making several key blocks for one of the other running backs on the Osseo team. In addition to his running abilities, Tusler can also be used in the passing game, catching 29 passes for 356 yards and five touchdowns on the year. That, combined with his season average of 8.3 yards per carry and 11 touchdowns on the ground makes him an extremely valuable weapon for any offense.
