Gophers face Washington in College World Series

The game will be televised on Fox Sports Net.

Minnesota will play at 5 Saturday if its wins and at 1 if it loses in this double-elimination setup. Host Long Beach State is the number one seed and Pepperdine, the regular season champs from the West Coast Conference is the No. 4 seed.

The Gophers are 9-24 in the College World Series under head coach John anderson. Gopher ace Ben Perkins will pitch against the Huskies.
