Minnesota will try to notch its first win of the Big Ten season against the Michigan Wolverines. Sunday's tip-off at Crisler Arena is set for 3:00 p.m. and will be televised by the Big Ten Network.

Season to Date: Michigan enters Sunday's contest with a 11-2 (1-0 Big Ten) record. The Wolverines two losses on the season were on the road, losing to No. 6 Duke (82-75) at the EA Sports Maui Invitational and Virginia (70-58) in Charlottesville. After the loss to the Cavilers, Michigan rattled off six straight wins including its Big Ten opener against Penn State (71-53).

Coaching Preview: John Beilein is in his fifth season as the head coach at Michigan where he has compiled a 57-61 record. In 34 years as a collegiate head coach, Beilein has manufactured 20 or more victories 16 times during his career. He is also the only active coach in college basketball to record 20 wins at four different levels: junior college, NAIA, NCAA Division II and NCAA Division I.

Series History: Michigan leads the all-time series with Minnesota, 77-58. The Wolverines have won four straight contests against the Golden Gophers. Minnesota has not faired well playing in Ann Arbor, winning only 20 times over the course of the series, although the Gophers did best Michigan on the road last year, 69-64.

Last Meeting: Michigan defeated Minnesota, 70-63, on Feb. 26, 2011, at Williams Arena. Tim Hardaway Jr. posted a game-high 22 points on 5-for-8 shooting from 3-point range for the Wolverines. Rodney Williams had eight points, five assists and six rebounds for the Gophers.
