Sibiea Plans Minnesota Visit

Homestead (Fla.) defensive end Pedro Sibiea is the latest talented player to take a visit to the Twin Cities. The 6-foot-3, 295-pound Louisville commit is looking to take a closer look at the University of Minnesota next weekend.

Sibiea has been committed to Louisville for a while now but has decided to look around before signing day to see what else is out there. While Pedro is still a solid commit to Louisville he will be visiting a couple of schools besides Louisville before signing day.

"I'm visiting Minnesota on the 20th and Cincinnati the week before that," he said.

Sibiea has some strong connections at Louisville as one of his coaches played alongside Charlie Strong in college and another coach had his son play for Strong when he ran the Florida defense. These connections helped Sibiea develop a good relationship with the coaches which is one of the two main things he is looking for and could potentially swing him if they "blew him away."

"I'm looking for a good relationship with the coaching staff and a strong fan base," he said.

With signing day fast approaching the Gophers or the Bearcats would have to really impress Sibiea to change his mind.
