She was on four Lakeville state true team track and field championship teams, two Minnesota State High School League meet championship teams in track and two state championship teams in basketball as a sophomore and junior.

Podominick was selected as the 2003 Ms. Basketball in 2003 and was Star Tribune Player of The Year as a junior and senior. She played in the McDonald's All-American Game in Cleveland and Nike All-American Game in Atlanta.

Podominick hold the state record in shotput (51- 7 1/2) and discus (160-8).

She is part of a stellar girl's basketball recruiting class by head coach Pam Borton. Eastview's Jamie Broback and Kelly Roysland of Foston also signed with the Gophers in the early signing period.
