Coach Tracy Claeys' Take:

"Briean is a another junior college kid, came to us from Coffeyville. We've had a lot of success from Coffeyville, we know the coaches there really well.

"He's unique in the fact that he has three years left. He was a qualifier out of high school, qualified late. Didn't like his options in July when he qualified so he went to Coffeyville for a year. They made a coaching change in Coffeyville, we got a phone call, and was able to get him up here.

"He's extremely athletic. Not very many times as a true freshman get All-Conference award in the Jayhawk Conference back in Kansas and he was able to accomplish that. Not only does he have three years left, he has a tremendous upside to him."
