"As of now, the schools showing the most interest are Boston College, Minnesota, Wofford, Drake, South Dakota State, and a little from Iowa," he said.
A good student looking to major in business, Warren has been reaching out to top academic programs.
"I've also been starting to get in some contact with a couple Ivy League schools," he said. "I'm just really trying to get as much exposure as possible, and get my name out there."
With plenty of interest, Warren is setting up visit dates.
"I attended Boston College's on the 28th of January," he said. "Last week I attended South Dakota State's, and next week, I am going to Minnesota's. I received an invite from Winona State, and Bucknell as well. I have also gotten some invitations to visit some schools to watch a spring practice."
As Warren goes on visits, he knows what he is looking for in a school.
"When I look at a school, I really look for three things; the academics, athletics, and atmosphere," he said. Basically, schools that have a solid business program, schools who have a solid program that and are able to compete with other schools. And lastly, a school where the community and students follow and support the team on a Saturday afternoon."
One school that Warren is interested in is Minnesota, a team that has been in recent contact with.
"As of now, I have mostly been in contact with the recruiting coordinator, and assistant coordinator," he said. "I attended two games last year, and obviously got the Junior Day invite, but not as much contact as I would hope. I am just going keep emailing Minnesota, and scheduling some times that I could call them, to really get in as much contact as possible."
Warren will get a chance to see what the Gophers have to offer as he makes a visit to the Twin Cities this weekend.
"I am really just looking forward to seeing the campus, tour more of the facilities, and really learn more about the program, and how they hope to turn it around," said Warren.
