Kelleher to Camp With Gophers

With camp season approaching, the Gophers are looking to bring in top athletes to the Twin Cities for evaluation. One player who may make the trip to Minnesota is Moeller (Ohio) defensive back Logan Kelleher. caught up with Kelleher to discuss his recruitment and plans for this summer.

Kelleher, a 5-foot-10, 180 defensive back who describes himself by saying, "I'm very aggressive, flexible, playmaker, and a hard worker. I can play both corner or safety and play the pass or run. I love to hit."

He has seen a recent spike in his recruitment.

"I am very excited about the recruiting process and it's been going great," he said. "The teams that are talking to me the most so far are Bowling Green, Akron, Buffalo, Miami Ohio, and Ohio. Almost all of the MAC has been in touch with me. Lots of D1 AA schools have been in touch too."

Kelleher has also been in touch with Minnesota, a place he plans to camp at this summer.

"Their camp is one of my camps potentially to be on my radar and they want me to come to camp," he said.

Along with a trip to Minnesota, Kelleher is looking to pick up offers at a number of other camps.

"I'm going to MSU, Bowling Green, Minnesota, and Sat-Elite camp at a high school near me," he said.

As he takes visits and camps to various schools, Kelleher is looking for some specific things.

"I'm looking for a place that feels like family, academics, the interest they have in me, and quality of football."
