Pryor to Camp at Minnesota

Vero Beach (Fla.) running back Nathaniel Pryor has yet to earn an offer but has interest from a number of top BCS schools. Pryor updated on the latest of his developing recruitment and plans to visit Minnesota.

Pryor is a 5-foot-9, 180-pound back from football powerhouse Vero Beach. He describes himself as a player by saying, "I don't let one man get me down, I give it my all every play, I'm a leader, motivator, and I'm a person that believes in getting the job with no excuses."

Despite not having an offer, Pryor claims interest from Minnesota, Bethune- Cookman, Iowa State, Wisconsin, Temple, Wake Forest, Western Kentucky, Liberty, FAU, Jacksonville State, Boston College, Stony Brook, and Cincinnati.

One of the schools that has shown the most interest is the Gophers.

"Well I been talking to Coach Reeves, I've been calling him, and he said he is very interested," said Pryor. "He was on his way back to Minnesota to get with the staff, and hopefully I get offered."

Another Gopher coach also visited Pryor this spring.

"Coach Anderson came to watch my spring game," he said.

Brian Anderson gave Pryor some positive feedback.

"He said I know how to make plays and stuff like that," said Pryor. "He was calling Coach Reeves about how I was playing, and I think he liked what he saw."

Pryor will be visiting Minnesota this summer and already likes some of what the Gophers bring to the table.

"I will be coming to a camp this summer, but I like the conference Minnesota is in, and they offer what I want to major," he said. "I'm coming in June to check everything out."

While on campus, Pryor will be looking for a number of aspects that his future school must have.

"Well a family type atmosphere, high academics, and a great support that will assist me academically," he said.
