Wolitarsky Gets Minnesota Offer

Canyon Country (Calif.) wide receiver Drew Wolitarsky received three offers last week, including one from the Minnesota Golden Gophers.

"It's been a big week, three days in a row I got an offer," Wolitarsky told Scout.com's Brandon Huffman. "Minnesota, Nevada and Hawaii all offered me."

"Minnesota, I was kind of expecting that one," said Wolitarsky. "The coach told me he liked me, and he showed me a lot to the head coach. …I want to go out to Minnesota over the summer."

As a 2011 junior, had 1,643 yards on 70 receptions and 19 touchdowns. Currently ranks third all-time in receiving yards in California.

During his 2010 sophomore season, had 77 receptions for 1,472 yards, a school receiver. Earned First Team All-League, First Team All-CIF, First Team All-Underclass and First Team All-SuperSoph.

As a 2009 freshman at Canyon Country (Calif.) Canyon, through nine games on varsity, had 38 receptions for 750 yards and six touchdowns, the leading freshman receiver in California.
