Union (Iowa) athlete Trev Hadachek has been in contact with the Gophers for quite some time. After visiting spring practice in Minneapolis, Hadachek made the trip to the Twin Cities for one of Jerry Kill's summer football camps. Despite an injury, Hadachek performed well and was asked back for another visit.
Hadachek is a 5-foot-11, 170-pound athlete who played a multitude of positions for his high school teams. Also a successful track athlete, Hadachek wasn't able to show his true athletic ability due to an injury.
"I have a tweaked hammy so I wasn't 100-percent," he said.
His performance was good enough to earn another invitation back to camp.
"I got good feedback," he said. "They want me to come back when I'm healthy."
Hadachek isn't sure when he will return to Minnesota but wants to make it to another camp.
"Not sure, most likely July," he said.
Although he wasn't able to perform at his peak performance, Hadachek enjoyed his time in the Twin Cities.
"It was awesome," he said. I like it a lot there."
