The linebacker for Simeon Vocational (Chicago, Ill.) High School is gaining the attention of more schools around the country.
Reggie Spearman originally planned to make a decision about where he would be playing football next year by mid-August, but now says there is a chance he might wait until after his senior season at Simeon Vocational. With new offers from Minnesota, Vanderbilt, Illinois, Houston, Indiana, New Mexico, Northern Illinois and several others, he said he may want to take his time before committing to see if any other schools decide to give him an offer.
Spearman also said he plans to attend the Iowa State camp on July 20, and will also make an official visit to Vanderbilt before the end of summer but has no plans to visit any other schools at this time.
Although he does not have plans on visiting Minnesota in the near future, he has developed a good relationship with the Gopher staff.
"Coach Kill is the best recruiting coach," he said.
