Thoughts on Signing With the Golden Gophers
"It will mean a lot to me knowing where I'm going to spend the next couple years of my life," said Jones.

Prep Career Highlights
Jones was a true duel threat quarterback for Dutchtown. In 2012, he was very impressive throwing the ball. He totaled 1609 yards passing with 16 touchdowns and just four interceptions. While running the ball, Jones racked up 634 yards on the ground while scoring seven times.

Coach Matt Limegrover's Take
"Donovahn is a pretty special athlete from Georgia. We're going to start him out at quarterback and we're very excited about his playmaking ability. He's a true dual-threat guy with the ball in his hands. He throws the ball well but he's pretty special when he pulls that thing down and gets into the open field. He's a bigger athlete. He's a guy that will physically be able to hold up in the Big Ten. We're very excited to get the ball in his hands and let him do his thing here."
