Elmore is Solid

Somerset (WI.) tight end Gaelin Elmore committed to Minnesota, but some still question his commitment. Elmore sets the record straight on his commitment status and what else he is doing for the class.

Minnesota picked up their fourth commit when Somerset (WI.) tight end Gaelin Elmore decided he wanted to be a Gopher. Before his commitment however, there many that saw the 6-5, 240-pound tight end flip-flop over his different suitors and who his new leader was. Now that he is a Gopher, some still don't believe he is fully committed, but Elmore feels quite the opposite.

"I'm a 1000% committed to Minnesota," Elmore told GopherDigest. "It's not out of spite towards Wisconsin. It's just my decision. The best decision for me and I can't wait to prove people wrong about the Gophers."

Now that Elmore is on board, he will look to build upon the already strong class and talks about the selling pitch he is giving out to the recruits.

"Yeah, I am recruiting for Minnesota," Elmore said. "Frank Ragnow, Deron Thompson, and Andrew Stelter are the three that I am really recruiting. Any other person that is considering the Gophers is someone that I will also try to get. I know Minnesota is recruiting them all pretty hard, but I just talk to them over Twitter."

"I tell them just that Coach Kill is going to be doing great things there and we all should be a part of it. I do not know if it's working, but I do know that I will keep trying."
