Chanhassen (MN.) offensive tackle Frank Ragnow has seen his recruitment rise and has become a hot commodity on the recruiting trail. He explains what the next step is in his recruitment.
"My recruitment is going good right now," Ragnow told GopherDigest. "I'm just trying to figure out some visits. I want to go everywhere like all the schools that have offered me along with Wisconsin and Ohio State. I'm not sure when I will be making all these visits yet."
A while back, the 6-6, 285-pound mammoth tackle received his first offer from Minnesota and he still remembers the moment perfectly.
"Minnesota was my first offer I got," said Ragnow. It was breath taking to get that offer. I went to their camp not expecting to walk away with an offer and it really was just awesome!"
Many schools are hot on the trail for the No. 52 offensive tackle in the nation and three star recruit by Fox Sports NEXT, but how good of a shot do the Gophers have in landing the in-state highly touted offensive tackle?
"Right now, basically every coach is recruiting me from Minnesota, Ragnow said laughingly. "I know they want me and commits are talking to me talking how cool it would to play together. Minnesota seems to be going in the right direction and is a place I definitely have interest in going to play."
When making that final decision for many recruits, they take a few things in consideration, so Ragnow talks about the factors going for him.
"Distance will not be a factor to me, but it would be pretty cool to play on front of friends and family," said Ragnow. "I am going to decide when I'm ready and get that feeling. The things that I will be taking into consideration for my decision are playing time, academics, program success and comfortability."
