Position Switch For Jensen

Sleeper Minnesota native junior outside linebacker Nick Jensen is looking to really kickstart his recruitment, so he has decided to switch positions and hope schools take notice

Sartell (MN.) junior outside linebacker Nick Jensen had a good year this past season, but it still hoping his recruitment starts to heat up. He is looking to make the move over to offense as an fullback to show schools like Wisconsin and Minnesota how versatile and talented he can be for them.

"My recruitment has been rather cold right now," Jensen told GopherDigest. "I am likely having my new primary position be fullback. I believe I'd be the best fit to replace Gopher senior fullback Mike Henry. I'm very interested in Wisconsin and Minnesota at this point. I'm very open to any schools right now though."

At 6-1, 205-pounds, Jensen has the frame to add on extra weight, but his hard hitting ability is something that strives in his game and hopes he could make an impact at fullback for either Wisconsin or Minnesota.

"Wisconsin and Minnesota both utilize their fullbacks like our offense now," said Jensen. "They are both upcoming programs with great education. I feel like I could make an impact right away at either school. Growing up though, I was never a hardcore fan of any team, but being that I was from Florida, I was a big Miami fan."
