Oseland Picks Up Big Ten Offer

Springfield (IL.) Sacred Heart Griffin junior offensive tackle Quinn Oseland has been seeing his recruitment on the rise and his latest came from a Big Ten program. He talks about the offer and a possible visit to the school inside

At 6-6, 300-pounds, Springfield (IL.) Sacred Heart Griffin junior offensive tackle Quinn Oseland has the size and power to excel at the next level. With Minnesota losing a lot on the offensive line next season and the Gophers putting a big emphasis on recruiting the offensive line for 2015, it was no shocker that Oseland landed an offer from Minnesota Wednesday night.

"I found out about the Minnesota offer over phone and I was pretty excited with it being another Big Ten offer," Oseland told GopherDigest. "Honestly, I don' know much about Minnesota, but I like that their coaching staff is well known by mine and I hear great things about their staff."

Oseland is an early three star recruit by Scout.com and is receiving a lot of attention in the recruiting process so far and he updates the latest with his recruitment and if he might visit Minnesota in the future.

"My recruitment is going good," said Oseland. I am hearing from schools and taking it all in. For sure I plan on probably going to Minnesota to check out a practice and see the university. I might visit Indiana this weekend, but that is pending. I am probably hearing from the most from Wisconsin and Missouri, but I'm not sure if I will be able to make it to Wisconsin's junior day."
