"I haven't heard from Minnesota much besides receiving letters and e-mails," Bailey told GopherDigest. "I don't know much about them so I can't really say how interested I am in them."
"If they were to offer me or start showing more interest, I would want to learn more about the school and the program. Yeah I mean if they offered I probably would think about visiting, but I would have to think it could be somewhere I could really see myself playing at before we make that long drive."
The 6-1, 210-pound versatile outside linebacker is ranked the No. 48 outside linebacker and a three star recruit by Scout.com. Not only has his ranking been going up, but his recruitment has as well and he gives the latest.
"My latest offer was from Western Michigan, which puts me at 5 for this offseason so far and 9 total offers, which is pretty good," said Bailey. "I've only taken two visits so far, which were to Northwestern and Michigan State and I'm going to hit up a lot of spring practices with in the next month and a half or so. I'm visiting Indiana this weekend for a spring practice and I could be going to Pittsburgh the following weekend."
This past season, his team came up short as they lost in the state semi-finals 13-11 and ended up going 13-1 on the year. Still, Bailey thought he had a productive year and did all he could for his team.
"I was a two way starter at outside line-backer and running back," said Bailey. "I don't have my offensive stats, but I had 158 total tackles, 60 solo, 59 assist, 40 first hit, 9 tackles for loss, 3 sacks, 3 forced fumbles, 4 interceptions, 66 return yards, 1 fumble recovery, and 3 batted balls. I tried my best each game and wanted to help my team anyway I could."
