2015 Intro: Hunter Carlberg

While he might not have seen his recruitment explode yet, Minneapolis (MN.) De La Salle junior offensive guard Hunter Carlberg could be seeing it take off and he talks about his recruitment and more inside

While Minnesota is after one of the top in-state players in the 2015 class with Minneapolis (MN.) De La Salle junior offensive tackle Drayton Carlberg, they also have their sights on his brother in junior offensive guard Hunter Carlberg. He talks about his thoughts towards the Golden Gopher program and more.

"I have attended the Minnesota and South Dakota State junior days," said Carlberg. "I am also hearing from UMD, North Dakota State and various D3 schools. I am very interested in Minnesota. They have an excellent coaching staff. They also have definitely turned the program around and you expect them to win every time they take the field. I see the gopher football program competing for a big ten championship very soon."

"It would be amazing to receive an offer from my hometown college. The university has a wide range of majors to choose from and to play football for them would be a huge honor."

The 6-1, 275-pound road grader grew up playing football with his brother Drayton and hopes to continuing their playing careers at the next level.

"It would be kind of cool to play on the same team as my brother," said Carlberg. "We have played together since the 4th grade."
