Chaska (MN.) junior offensive tackle Bronson Dovich is becoming more and more of a well-known recruit in the Midwest and nationally. The hometown Golden Gophers are looking to keep him home and had got him on campus a couple days ago. He recaps the unofficial to Minnesota and the opportunity he had to talk to the headman himself in head coach Jerry Kill.
"It was my parents and I and we got a tour around campus and facilities from some of the coaches, then we got to meet with Coach Kill for about 25 minutes," Dovich told GopherDigest. "They said they liked how I played and said Coach Limegrover will be at my school next week to see me. He was out recruiting during my visit, so I didn't get a chance to see him."
The 6-6, 290-pound tackle has picked up his first two offers recently from South Dakota State and Rutgers, but is hearing from several others. Still, a offer from Minnesota is one that he's patiently waiting on.
"My recruitment is going well," said Dovich. "I don't have any visits planned yet, but I did have Oregon and Northern Iowa in my school yesterday and I know Northern Illinois along with Minnesota are coming in next week."
"That would be huge if Minnesota offered. The visit the other day had a big impact on my family and I, so an offer from them would really mean a lot. I've grown up loving the Gophers and I had a great time down there."
