“It went great yesterday,” Connelly told GopherDigest. “We got there and just hung out in the recruiting room for awhile. We talked to other recruits, coaches and the freshmen players where they were just hanging with us too so we got to talk to them for awhile. We then took a tour around the stadium and what not. Coach Glasscock talked a little bit about academics and then we all went out on the field and played some bean bag toss game with the players and just ate and hung out for a couple hours.”
“I really like all the coaches up there. I really got nothing bad to say about them. I talked to Bronson and Demry. I’ve talked to them a little bit on Twitter and what not, so I know them a little bit. I know that those two have also committed, so I just hung with them basically the whole time. I also talked to a few other recruits, but I couldn't tell you their names.”
The 6-6, 265-pound three star offensive tackle got quality time with future teammates, coaches and recruits and couldn’t ask for more.
“The food was amazing,” said Connelly. “I ate so much (laughter). I really enjoyed just being able to eat, talk, play bag toss and just hang out with the other players there and recruits. It was just really good to get to know some more people up there and some future teammates that’ll be coming in the same class as me. Me and Bronson can definitely clean the plate. There is a good 2015 class coming in and that we are all coming in ready to work and ready for the grind to help us win a championship.”
